Long weekend and we decided to spend the friday nite seeing this movie. It first got my attention with its back-aging idea and I thought this is one of those movies that main character traveling back to previous time to undo- those he regrets he did or redo- those he regrets he didn't do. But then I found myself totally wrong.
Instead of back-tracking the timeline, the main character simply transformed back into his body shape at age 17, energetic, young and charming. With the refreshing body, he spends more time with his children and build up a better relationhip with them. He also gradually regains the long lost romance with his wife. And of course, he eventually brought every broken shards together and there goes the happy ending.
Everyone has some regrets tagging along and always wants a second chance going back to amend the wrongs. Unfortunately this ain't happening by any chance in real life and this is exactly why we must cherish every single moment spent with our family, before everything is too late.
